Bhubaneswar-A, led by experienced seamer Basant Mohanty, regained the trophy in the Kalahandi Cup Senior Men Inter-District Cricket Tournament after a gap of two years, defeating Bhubaneswar-B in the final by 48 runs here at Ravenshaw University Ground-I today.
Allrounder Shantanu Mishra starred in the Bhubaneswar-A triumph, scoring 89 runs (84b, 3x4, 2x6) and picking up two wickets for 28 runs. Put into bat by Bhubaneswar-B captain Santosh Debkant, Bhubaneswar-A mustered a competitive total of 206 for six in 45 overs.
